What Are One-Touch Make Ready (OTMR) Best Practices?
When you have a working relationship with the pole owner, a one-touch make ready application should follow these steps:
Submit poles for approval
(no make-ready or simple
make-ready).
Attach the new cable and
conduct the required basic
make-ready construction.
Respond to discoveries
made during the post-make
ready inspection.
Notify involved parties
of the intent to survey.
Notify affected parties
of intent to execute OTMR
construction.
Notify affected parties
when the work is complete.
