Keely Lane

Keely spends her time day to day managing the Fiber Team, troubleshooting engineering challenges, and working with clients to maintain a healthy and professional relationship.
She has taken her experiences with management, combined with her knowledge of fiber engineering, and applied it to Essentia’s Fiber Engineering Team.
Career Highlights
Keely got started with the telecommunications industry right out of college. She went to work for UC Synergetic, which did work for AT&T. There she learned a lot of her base knowledge involving fiber, copper, and splicing. She went from being a Drafter I to a Drafter II/Quality Manager within a year, where she designed large-scale fiber designs and oversaw other drafters’ work.
Keely then went on to work for American Tower and learned the macro side of telecommunications. She worked as a Civil Engineer I/II and workload manager. Keely designed new tower locations and created maintenance fixes for sites that were damaged by water, landslides, etc. She worked with a team of drafters, Q/Cing their construction drawings.
Keely has earned her Professional Engineering Certification in more than 15 states
