Essentia, Inc. capped a high-growth, accolade-rich year by landing at No. 15 on the Charlotte Business Journal’s Fast 50, the annual ranking of Charlotte-area businesses determined by 3-year revenue growth.
In addition to being headquartered in the greater Charlotte region, qualifying companies must be private, for-profit ventures with at least three full fiscal years and registered sales of $1 million in 2020.
Founded in 2003 and based in Charlotte, N.C., Essentia has planted roots across the country. Its team of trusted experts design and build turnkey outdoor & indoor networks for Telecom Carriers, Cable MSOs, and enterprises from a growing number of verticals.
Lindon Hayes, Co-Founder and CEO, believes that Essentia is just beginning to realize its potential. “New companies and industries are now understanding the value of deploying network infrastructure at least 6 months ahead of their competitors,” Hayes said. “Because of our innovation – including drone data capture, engineering automations, and machine learning – we’re able to work smarter and faster, delivering client ROI in manifold ways.”
The Fast 50 ranking comes in the same year that Essentia was named to the North Carolina Mid-Market Fast 40 and shot up to the top third of the Inc. 5000 list.
Additionally in 2021, Essentia was Certified as a Great Place to Work, a prestigious recognition based entirely on what current employees say about their experience at the company.
“Building a great culture is absolutely critical to stoking an environment of innovation,” Hayes said. “We’re highly committed to attracting and keeping A-players who love what they do. Between that, and the opportunities set in motion by our new technology demo, we’re setting the stage for a very special 2022.”
